A Baptism, A Friend
29 Apr 2007Today we had our first Baptism at the river (5 mile dam) of 2007. It was AWESOME! Ten people shared their decision to follow Christ by taking part in believer’s Baptism today. It was an EXTRA SPECIAL day for me because I got to Baptism one of my best friends. It’s was a great privilege for me to get to Baptize my close friend, Ben Branum. Check out the video of Ben’s Baptism below.Ben is one of those people in my Connection Group that I am always ranting a raving about. We are living life together and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I absolutely love him and his wife Lisa. They are incredible people! And best of all, he comes over every Monday night and we watch 24 together! Ben, thanks for the honor of Baptizing you. I look forward to many more years of friendship.

Ben is a great guy. It’s inspiring that he’s so willing to stand up for our freedoms, no matter the cost. I guess Iraq doesn’t need him right now because God has big plans for him here. I’m also proud of you Zak for being the kind of friend that has that kind of impact on the lives of the people around you!
