For many Christmas means some rest. For me it means Absolute Insanity. Look what I did / am doing this week:
Saturday I woke up, drove to Austin and picked upmt dad at the airport. We immediately drove to San Antonio to meet my brother for the UIL 5A div. 1 chamionship game. As soon as that was over, I drove back to Austin and prepped for Sundays services.
After our three services on Sunday, I went to Houston for a Christmas Eve service and dinner and then came straight back. Got home at midnight.
Monday morning i flew to Lubbock to be with by family. In a few hours, we’ll have Christmas with my side of the family and then hit the road again to go to Borger TX to see grandparents.
Drive back to Lubbock Wednesday. Thursday my dad, my brother, and I will get up and go to ruidoso, New Mexico to ski, if there is snow on the mountain…we’ll drive back that same day. FUN, but grueling on the travel.
Friday we’ll chill in Lubbock and Saturday we’llhead back home to Kyle!Wow!!! Total driving time: approx. 20 hours!!!
