Just got my copy of Pop Goes the Church by Tim Stevens. I am pumped about reading this book. Here are some initial thoughts:
- the cover rocks
- the chapter titles rock
- the fact that our church is in the book ROCKS
- the idea to use a little symbol throughout the book that correlates with information on the book’s website ROCKS
One thing I did notice…look at the pics below. There’s the cover, then the title page for the chapter we are in called “Twenty Churches. Twenty Stories.”
Then, there is a map with little markers where all of the 20 churches are supposed to be. But I quickly noticed, there is no marker for us on Austin…So I drew it in. 
The weird part is if you count, there are still 20 dots on that map. I am curious to figure out which dot is supposed to represent us…send me your book with return postage and I’ll fix it for you.
After I read the book, I’ll be posting thoughts and a review. I am JAZZED about reading this one!
