DEBT KILLS

I know there isn’t much blogging going on around here this week. But its just because the storm is coming next week. I am preaching this Sunday on debt. This presents a problem: I only get 30 minutes to speak.
What’s wrong with that? Well, the topic is DEBT. To REALLY cover it, I need a 7 week series. Debt is a topic I am passionate about. It kills. It eats you up inside.
My natural reaction to debt is KILL IT. Fight back. Don’t back down. Don’t give in. Don’t stop.
So next week on the blog, I’ll be posting about debt each day. You’ll get all that content that I wanted to squeeze in the sermon but just couldn’t RIGHT HERE.

Hey Zak,
Just curious as to where you are going with this. I would guess your focus is personal debt or even church debt. I was wondering what you thought about businesses. In the business world it’s referred to as “leverage” or using other people’s money. The idea is to use OPM for start-up and (hopefully) re-coup the costs quickly to pay back. What’s your opinion on that?

I’ll look into that and include it in my posts next week if it relates. I am talking about personal debt, so it may not fit in.
