7 Hour Realizations

I drove home today. 7 hours all to myself. I had some hard hitting reminders and realizations as I drove. Crazy what you can meditate on and give some serious thinking time to in 7 hours on the road. Here they are:

  • My wife is INCREDIBLE. I mean absolutely amazing. I’ve never met anyone like her.
  • My son is more important than anything (after God and my wife!)
  • My dad has a tattoo now, and my siblings and I gave it to him for Christmas. Weird. I didn’t say all of these things would be spiritual.
  • I’m speeding! (As I saw the highway patrolman’s lights go on…)
  • I have a LOT to do in 2009.
  • The Connection Church is an absolute God thing. Nothing can explain what all has happened.
  • The Connection Church hasn’t arrived. We’re just getting started…
  • I need to dream more God-sized dreams.
  • I need to learn how to lead people to get more done with less effort in less time. It is possible. Synergy.
  • I need to be more patient.
  • I need to take a 2 or 3 day sabbatical with absolutely no technology buzzing at me.
  • I had better get my knee looked at.
  • and last…I hope we have eggs and cheese at home.

The Little Drummer STOMP

Last night we had A Rockin’ Christmas Eve’s EVE at The PAC. All 900 seats were full. When this happened, I thought the stage was going to collapse from the energy in the room. The video starts out black but just keep watching…more video of the entire service coming early next week.

Dead Serious. DO NOT Miss This.

I went to rehearsal slash setup for A Rockin’ Christmas Eve’s Eve today.

Let me just say this. Do NOT miss it.

eveseveIt is going to be absolutely INCREDIBLE.

The opener.

The music

The lights.

The snow.

The kids on stage.

Do whatever it takes to get there.

Best of all though, Cole will be sharing about a baby born in a dirty old manger. A baby that grew up to be the best gift the world has ever received.

Most important of all, bring your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, and anyone else you know who does not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. THAT is THE BEST gift you could ever share with anyone.

Its probably your last chance for 2008. Don’t hesitate. Ask that person and bring them!

C’MON!
