Amber and I went to our ten year high school reunion this past weekend. It was a blast seeing old friends and catching up a little.
Over the course of my conversations with people I did a little secret surveying. I tried to squeeze in “where do you go to church these days” in my ramblings with former classmates.
And I was shocked to find that most of them don’t go anywhere.
It was a stark reminder of why we are doing what we are doing at Revolution Church. Its all about loving God, loving people, and starting a revolution that changes people’s lives and helps them start a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Or in the case of many of my classmates, help them reconnect with Christ and the church.

I think what you and Amber are doing is great. It takes a very strong person to lead people like you do. If you are every in Tahoe, stop by and I can take you to my church
We are small, and not many young people go. Church is not the coolest thing for most people in Cali. My church is in need of a revolution for sure.

Zak and Amber,
It was so nice to meet you guys! It was refreshing to talk about Jesus in the midst of that crazy reunion, and I know Justin and I were blessed by our conversation with you guys. We admire you and will be praying for you and your ministry!
Thanks!
