So I met a guy last week at Starbucks and told him all about Revolution Church launching in a few weeks. He seemed very excited and genuinely pumped up for us. He was from out of town, so he’ll probably never actually come to Revolution, but I had a blast sharing the vision with him.
As we were parting ways he said, “Zak, can I ask you one more question? What are you?”
I was baffled. I think I said, “HUH?”
He piped up. “Liberal or conservative, Zak?”
I wonder how much he hated my answer, because I answered the same I always do. I said, “I am conservative in my theology, moderate in my lifestyle and as liberal as it gets in my grace and love for others.”
I think Jesus would answer the same.
