I’ve been thinking about decisions a lot lately, because I have many to make every day. Little ones and HUGE ones…and here is what I am learning.
Its best to spend more time on the front end deciding first which decisions really do matter. Then, when the time comes, make those decision quickly. You have to shorten or even completely eliminate deliberation time about decisions or you will quickly become become a picker instead of a chooser.
Sometimes we can’t choose because of perfectionism. We call it the “paralysis of perfectionism” because it literally will paralyze you. The number one result I see come out of perfectionism is inaction!
Sometimes the best choice is to just stop choosing.
