Here it is….only 6 days late! The Brian Head Welch Weekend Mind Dump!
- WHAT AN AMAZING WEEKEND!
- TONS of people indicated decisions for Christ and many prayed one on one with our Next Steps team. I got to personally lead two people to Christ between services.
- Brian Head Welch’s story / interview was awesome. It was different every service, but we posted one for you to watch here or on the REV APP if you missed it
- Attendance was insane. We had 1700 people at Revolution this weekend. BLOWN AWAY. Now, let’s pray that many will return in the coming weeks and months and continue to take steps towards Christ.
- The REV Creative team did an amazing job leading us in some loud, God-honoring, rowdy worship all weekend.
- Five services is very doable on a weekly basis…now we know!
- The Street Team (parking) did such a great job too. We had cars ALL OVER the place, but I heard no complaints. So honored to serve with them.
- Actually, EVERY team did amazing!
- For events like this, we also proved that radio ads and mailers still work!
- If you’re a pastor thinking about pulling off a similar event, holla anytime. We learned a lot and would love to help your team.
- Brian Head Welch was easily the most humble, down to earth person I’ve ever worked with. He prayed more than any guest I’ve ever had and just spent time, especially at the meet and greets, loving on people. His heart is 100 percent sold out to Christ and all he cares about is pointing people to Jesus.
- He’s also very laid back and fun to hang out with. Within 15 minutes of picking him up at the airport I felt like I was just hanging out with a friend from high school.
- The REV YOUR LIFE shirts that we had made up for all of our REV Teams were LEGIT and VERY effective too. So cool to see 200 volunteers all rocking the same threads.
- Kevin Foster and the photo team did amazing. We created a “grammy style” photo backdrop to take pictures in front of and rented the proper lighting to get good shots. So much fun! Head said it was the best job anyone has every done at the whole meet and greet thing.
- We sold out of Head’s cd and books Saturday night. You can get Save me from Myself and Stronger on Amazon. You can get his Love and Death albums on iTunes. I highly recommend all of them. GOOD stuff.
- We gave away a guitar autographed by Head each service. That was a BLAST!
