New Church Name: MacChurch?

Got this suggestion for a church name from a buddy of mine today:

How about this for the name of your new church: MacChurch

“Where It’s Okay To Not Be P-C” or “Where Everyone Has Taken a Bite From The Apple”

Your loga can have three Mac Computers stack like the Connection Church’s blocks.

Calling All WordPress & Twitter Users

ttcOne thing I love about the web 2.0 revolution is how all of the great platforms out there are open source. The sky is the limit!

Since I started using twitter, I’ve wondered what kinds of plugins would be developed for my self-hosted WordPress blog.

Enter Tweet This Comment. Tweet This Comment drives traffic to your blog by turning every comment into a possible Twitter link-back to your blog. How does it work? It integrates with WP’s built-in comment system and gives your commenters the ability to post their comment (or any message they desire) to their Twitter account with a shortened URL (bit.ly) that leads right back to the post on which they commented.

My buddy Scott Magdalein & his friend Kyle Peterson have developed this truly unique and incredibly useful plugin. Great developers, a great plugin and incredible results!

The NEW iPhone

Ok. I can’t resist this blog. As usual, the anticipation of WWDC is killing me. It is like a kid the week before Christmas multiplied by 1,000. The new iPhone firmware comes out supposedly on Monday and I am just pumped. Then, to wet my appetite this patent information surfaces today. I hope EVERY little feature on the patent is true.

Digital video camera, blogging software, video conferencing, 3G network support and instant messaging…are you kidding me? YES!

Now that my sinful, materialistic self has been shared, would anyone want to buy my 1.0 iPhone? :)

Better yet, let’s get real for a few, what makes you materialistic?

Set Up Team in Time Lapse Form

Check it out. Sunday, I recorded our stage set up in time lapse fashion. Ended up looking really cool, especially when they start checking all the lighting, set design, etc. I love it!  Its only 1 minute long and it starts off pretty black, but then BUILDS. Watch it all!

RSS readers, there is a video HERE.
