Hey Revolution! Just a heads up…make sure that you bring MOM to church tomorrow. We have a pretty stinking cool surprise planned for all of our mothers at church tomorrow! Get there on time!

A few quick things:

• I am PUMPED about closing out the F-BOMB series with a message called “The Guilt Grenade” tomorrow.
• I am PUMPED that we get to HONOR our moms tomorrow.
• I am PUMPED about the momentum at our church and about all of the life change we are seeing. The vision God gave us to LOVE HIM, LOVE PEOPLE and START A REVOLUTION is happening all around!
• I am PUMPED because every single time ONE PERSON surrenders their lives to Christ that person has crossed over from DEATH to LIFE! Check out Luke 15 we see the angels throwing a party over just one person.
• I am FIRED UP about our Revolution Kids and Rev’N Rainforest areas because every single Sunday children learn about Jesus in an environment that is custom designed for them. Connie and her team do an amazing job. That is EXCITING for me because I believe the next generation will lead one of the greatest spiritual revolutions this world has ever seen.

Bringin’ back the mind dump! What is a mind dump?

Have you ever had the feeling that your mind is too cluttered to concentrate on a particular task? If so, this little exercise will help clear out your thoughts. Get a pad of paper and start writing down everything that is on your mind. Include everything that you need to do, everything that is bothering you, everything that worries you, anything you regret, wishes, hopes, etc.

Put it all down on the paper. Don’t stop until you can’t think of anything else. This has the effect of clearing out your mental closet. With a list of everything that you are thinking about, you’ll be able to set priorities and make quicker decisions. This will free you up to think creatively about something that you were previously unable to tackle.

Or in my case, it helps me just sleep. Here is tonight’s mind dump:

• Today was THE BIGGEST DAY EVER in the short history of Revolution Church. We ended our Illuminate Sermon Series with our Miracle Sunday offering. I know you are waiting for results! So am I! I announced the other day here on the blog that we will not announce the total of what was committed or given until 80% of our membership turns cards in. So don’t expect a total right away. It will take some time to round up commitments from people who miss this weekend.
• Please be aware: If you are a Partner of Revolution Church and don’t turn in a commitment we will be contacting you to turn in a commitment even if it is just to commit to $10.00 per week.  Why?  Because we are in this together and we sacrifice together. We believe everyone can and should do something because everyone is important! This is about sacrificing together and Illuminating this area for Christ! When we ALL do ALL we can do God will do what only HE can do!
• I still cannot believe that we gave away all we had as a church just a few weeks ago. BLESS BACK! Go read the stories if you haven’t yet.
• As FIRED UP as I was this morning preaching, I am EVEN MORE FIRED UP now. Why? Because when we kicked off Illuminate we did not know the strategy…but we did know the vision. And we always will. I believe that since we have now taken a step of faith…since we have committed ourselves to God’s vision for our lives and for our church in a powerful way…I believe that God will show us our strategy very soon!
• I LOVED that our church ripped up in cheers when I showed the graphic on the screen of how many people have given their lives to Christ since we launched the church. BOOYAH!
• Jesus wants His house to be full. Look at Luke 14:23. We have room especially in the 8:30 and 11:30 am services…So with that in mind WHO are you going to bring with you to Easter Sunday?
• The church should never sit back, never be quiet and never be marginalized. The church should never shut up…we ought to be the rowdiest, loudest bunch on this planet, not screaming about what we are against, but shouting out loud that we are for Jesus and for our city!
• I am working on a new feature here on the blog that will show you what I am reading online and what books I am reading. Leaders are learners. I get asked all the time what I am reading…so I thought sharing it here on the blog would be easy for you.
• I LOVED how we brought our Illuminate Miracle Offering and 6 Month Commitment today by SMACKING it down on the table. We mean BUSINESS when it comes to starting a spiritual revolution in our community and how we brought our offering was the PERFECT picture of that. Did anyone get that on video or pics? If so, email them to me asap!
• I cannot wait to pick up Amber and Couper at the airport tomorrow! I am lost without them!
• Get ready! Easter Sunday is coming!
• We are dropping the biggest F-BOMB EVER this Sunday…do whatever it takes to get your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to Revolution Church!
