Starting this new church is going to be a huge adventure for our family. My wife Amber will be in charge of family sanity among many other things. She has decided to start blogging and I thought that it would be cool to share with all of you, in case you want to watch the adventure unfold from a different angle.

Eat that Hallmark

Amber’s birthday was today.  I can’t ever find a card that I like, so I always end up trying to find one with no text so that I can write my own.  I would just make an entire card, but my creativity does not extend into the abyss of printers, pencils, scissors, folding, glue, alignment, stencils, cardboard, et cetera.

I am creative.  I love to create.

I am not crafty.  I hate crafts. But as much as I hate crafts, I swear, they hate me 10 times more.   If I am printing, penciling, cutting, folding, gluing, spacing, stenciling, et cetera, rest assured, something will go major wrong and I will end up throwing things.

But I do like to write personalized notes to my wife.  Here is what I came up with for her card today.  Husbands, feel free to steal it…

“Toots, you are stunningly beautiful, strikingly wonderful, and simply amazing in every way.  I love you!”
