Look at THIS story. I LOVE Apple. Just another reason they rock…fire anyone who steals. HAHA!
Guess I’ll do the STAT thing.
SO I guess I’ll do the stat thing…through my blogging platform, WordPress, I get some pretty sweet stat tracking. I can see who visits the blog, where, when, etc.
Some interesting things:
- Someone found my blog by searching “Now A Girl With Glasses.” Mmmm…that doesn’t even make sense.
- Most people that find my blog randomly find it because they search “Apple” or “iPhone.” Surprise surprise.
- I have had over 18,000 visits since I started
- Per day, the blog averages anywhere from 167-302 unique visitors.
- Currently the archives are spanning 349 posts and 135 comments, contained within the meager confines of 29 categories.
- Many of you click through to other sites from my site…mainly links I post and Cole’s Blog
- ONE of you still goes to that stinking www.zakwhite.com/wp page. Today I AM DELETING IT and FORCING YOU to MOVE TO www.zakwhite.com. Update your bookmarks and smile.
- About 50 of you seem to follow me on Twitter (the thing on the right column that says “What is Zak doing?”
- Pretty much any of you that are viewing the site as an RSS feed are using Google Reader
That’s all for now…boring stats, but interesting. Keep spreading the word!
HERE!
I got griped at by three readers today for not blogging much this week…so here you go:
This is what I am dealing with all week.
The Something So Big video project is now at 54 gigs. If you don’t know what a gig is, let me put it into perspective for you. 1 gig is 1,000,000,000 bytes. A DVD is 4.7 gigs of video. But I have 54 gigs. 54. That’s a lot of movies. The human genome, as vast as it is, only contains about .791174 gigs of info…but again I have 54 gigs of footage now. And we are only on week 3 of a 7 week series which means I am only half way there. Another example, 54 gigs could hold 54,000 novels. Are you starting to grasp how much I footage I am working with?
Of course this has caused a number of other issues. The biggest is that my hard drives (yes plural) are FULL. I need a terabyte BAD. Don’t even get me going on how big that is. Anyone wanna donate a terabyte drive to the church? They are about $400…
