- My buddy John Atkinson had an awesome post here on how we take stuff for granted.
- Maybe Churches could learn something from GANGS. Yes, GANGS. I’m serious. And so are my Catalyst peeps.
- I agree with Ben’s idea on being a creative genius in this post. I’ve lived it.
- Steven posted on controversy. Have you ever had someone that your heart just resonates with in every way? Furtick and I are connected somehow.
- Bobby Gruenewald posted on some things the Church could learn from Google. Awesome stuff. I agree.
- Our lead pastor, Cole Phillips posted about how we are striking back at IKE.
- A vintage Cadillac Zak post that I am resurrecting because it would rock to have some fresh feedback.
- And last, I am a Google guy (they run my life) but I hate their online photo tool, picasa. I am falling more in love with yahoo’s solution, FLICKR.

I think Cadillac Zak’s website needs an overhaul. What do you think? What would you make it look like?
I am FLOORED.
Tonight about 70 leaders from The Connection Church got together to make their 3 year commitments to Something So Big.
And I am absolutely FLOORED. Wow! I can’t even decide how to verbalize my praise to God for what He did tonight!
The leaders hit it WAY out of the park tonight with their commitments…and tomorrow it will be time for hundreds of other families to experience what we experienced tonight. DO NOT miss Commitment Sunday tomorrow at The Hays Performing Arts Center. We will be having ONE BIG service at 10:30. Show up at 10:15. Trust me, you’ll want to be a little early. More details here.
We are still a toddler church…only 3 years old. People say and think that we don’t have the means, the experience, or the strategy necessary to do Something this Big for God. People have all kinds of ideas about what a young church like us can and cannot accomplish…but tomorrow, we will BLOW ALL of those preconceived notions out of the water. Brace yourself.
I LOVE Jesus! I LOVE God! And I LOVE God’s vehicle for life change in our area…The Connection Church!
