Christmas Present to Revolution Church

I have a gift for you Revolution Church! We have a worship leader!

His name is Micah Fisher. And, we have got to get him a better pic.

I am pumped up about working with this guy. He loves God, loves people, and is passionate about starting a spiritual revolution in our community!

The story of how we got hooked up is a GOD thang! I can’t wait to share it with you.

Micah is an imaginative visionary, with a desire to see people experience God personally through worship, creative arts, relationships and ultimately truth.

In 2005 he graduated from Masters School of Ministry in Atlanta GA. Since then he has been involved in leading worship from Atlanta to Texas and even as far as the United Kingdom. Through this he has gained experience with children’s, student, and adult ministries.

“I have been a Christ follower since I was a child. Growing up in a pastor’s home I’ve experienced the best and the worst of what church as usual has to offer. With this exposure I have become passionate about bringing people into a rich, personal, and life producing relationship with Jesus Christ.” -Micah Fisher

In his off time Micah enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and also hanging out at the local coffee house. He also enjoys the occasional traveling excursion, musical endeavor, and experiencing new things.

What I Want for Christmas…

…is for someone to sponsor this Compassion child. arminda

Her name is Arminda Choque. She lives in Bolivia, was born Dec. 11th, 1997, and has 6 brothers and sisters. Arminda faces a harsh, daily struggle for survival. Just like many other kids, she goes for days with little or no food. She has limited access to safe drinking water and lives in much fear and danger.

And my heart breaks for her. We sponsor a Compassion child and it has changed our lives. The letters you get from your child put things into perspective and the letter you write to them change your heart.

I wish I could personally sponsor every single Compassion kid, but I can’t; so instead, I’ll do what I can to get her sponsored.

So what I want for Christmas this year is a sponsor to pray for, encourage, love and support Arminda. Go for it! It will change your life!

Christmas in March

On my run this morning I noticed several houses with their Christmas decor still out.

Seriously?

I’m all about Christmas lights. When its Christmas time.

But if your lights are still up, I have to assume one of four things about you…or maybe all.

  1. You are way to stinking busy in life and need to cut some things out.
  2. You are way to stinking LAZY in life. Get off your booty and take your lights down.
  3. You are way stinking scared to get on the roof or a ladder.
  4. You like Christmas way too stinking much.
