Finally, the day has come!
After polling tons of people in the community (and all over the U.S.) we have a church name. We utilized cards and a website, http://www.namethischurch.com to get people’s ideas. I won’t lie, some of the ideas were SUPER bad. We had pre-selected about 5 name choices and most (about 80%) people chose one particluar name off of the list.
That name was REVOLUTION CHURCH.
We are pumped up about the next steps that we will be taking as a church now that we have a name. I think the name fits our area and our vision perfectly.
We also did a fun logo design contest to get a great logo designed. You can read about it here and the winner, Mikal Stevens, here. Here are the final logo choices:
We ABSOULTELY LOVE the icon and the font Mikal used. We are just having a hard time choosing from these three layouts. Which would you go with? Why? Be sure to reference the number when commenting.
