A big part of our strategy is social media (blogs, facebook, twitter, youtube, etc).

Sometimes, I get asked, “Zak, why do you use facebook and twitter so much?” Or, people ask me why I have invested time in social media.

Just a quick shot to share that our new (temporary) website is up! We value using technology and the arts to strategically communicate the good news of Jesus Christ and impact lives.

So, we bought the domain revyourlife.com and are pumped about utilizing the web to love God, love people, and start spiritual revolutions in peoples’ lives.

I say “temporary” website because this site will only be up for about three weeks while Updatable.cc builds our real website.

Design a Logo, Win $250 & Serve God

After a couple months of polling people via NameThisChurch.com, we have a church name. But I’ll save that for a later post. :)

This post is all about a logo. If you have some mad-crazy design skills this is for you. If you love photoshop, adobe illustrator, Jesus, and reaching people through creativity, this is YOUR CONTEST.

We are looking for a logo and want to see what you got. Here’s how it works:

  • Contact Pastor Zak (me) at cadillaczak@gmail.com for the church name and some general info that will help you with the logo
  • Submit a logo to cadillaczak@gmail.com by July 27th
  • Wait for our team to choose a winner
  • Get your $250 prize check in the mail

Sunday Mind Dump

  • awesome weekend. Though I skipped church Sunday morning, I went to church at four different churches this weekend. First, I checked out a new church plant here in Kyle. Then, I went to church online at newspring church, life church, and central christian church. Crazy cool!
  • By the way, watch this video from Central Christian in vegas. It will make you bawl your eyes out if you love Jesus and want to see people connect in a real, growing relationship with Him! I cry every stinking time I watch it. THIS is what life is about.
  • Do you know a good worship leader? Or even better, an entire band? I need one…soon.
  • Got a dang good run in this morning. Marathon training starts soon…
  • the house is ALL TORE UP. Furniture all over the place, primer, paint, tools, a feather pillow that exploded…nice.
  • I miss my family. Big time. Only 14 days til I see them.
  • Got a lot of work done on Grill-Zilla with my expert welding buddy Seth Pennington this weekend. Seth is easily the most dedicated and hardworking guy I know. And, he’s one of my best friends. Love him to death.
  • Went canoeing today on Town Lake with my sister. Had a blast!
  • About to start painting.
  • DANG…I’ll sleep good tonight! 6 mile run, long canoe trip and painting all in one day. That ought to do it. :)
  • Reading Nelson Searcy’s book “Launch.” Good stuff.
  • Did I say that I miss Amber and Couper?
  • Got a BUSY BUSY week coming up!
