One of my goals (more on all of my 2009 goals soon) for 2009 is going to be to read 50 books. I think. Maybe 40. Not sure yet…
I need to be a more avid reader. So, I am compiling a list. Its getting there. I need some help though.
And don’t say “The Bible.” The Bible goes without saying; it is a non-negotiable. Putting the Bible on a reading list is like putting breathing on a to-do list. It is a given.
The playlist is ready. It has gone through my own personal extreme testing process. It is 2.7 hours long so hopefully, I won’t even hear the last .7 hours of it!
The playlist is made up of songs that are going to increase my endurance and muscle strength…or maybe they are the songs that I will be listening to as I pass out from exhaustion. We’ll know soon.
As for the winner…well…just a second.

I ran 6.8 miles just now. I can’t feel my forearms because it was about 45 degrees outside. Good run. If you are like me and love to be able to track your progress when trying to reach a goal, GOOGLE has a sweet tool. It’s called “my maps.” Check out this map of my run this morning. Really cool tool for bikers or runners because you can map it and see exactly how far you went. Just thought I’d brag a little and share this really cool new feature of google maps.
The training for the 1/2 marathon I am running is going good. I have less than a month to be ready…pretty stinking scary!
