Where There is No Laughter, the People Perish.

Laughter. Its important. Especially for me this week. It’s my natural tonic.

Leaders always say “where there is no vision, people perish.” That’s true and I lead by it. But I also throw in my own mantra: “where there is no laughter the people perish.”

In fact, laughter is so important that I passed the torch of “staff clown” to my good buddy Nic Burleson as I left The Connection Church by leaving the torch on his desk. Here is the torch:

the torch

Come to think of it, Nic, you never even mentioned it. You had better be cutting up around that office and be a little immature from time to time to balance things out and lighten the mood. :)

Pastor Greg

Art from the hit series Pastor GregIt is so stinking cool to see the different talented people that we have coming to The Connection Church!  After I did my upside down straitjacket escape dangling 30 feet in the air at our Easter Egg Hunt three years ago, a guy in our church named Mike Reid asked me for the footage.  I found out that Mike is a writer for several TV shows!  AWESOME!  Cool to see the talent God is bringing on board!

He wanted the footage for a show called “Pastor Greg.”

So, for the first time ever, CadillacZak Magic will be featured on real television!  Sweet!  The episode is scheduled to air on Saturday April 26th at 1:00 a.m. Central Time on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network).  So set your TIVO and don’t miss it.  Thanks Mike!
