Jesus is Dead.

Have you ever thought that the first Christ followers only knew one thing when Jesus died on the cross?

He.
Was.
DEAD.

Today, we jump ahead to the Resurrection too fast. If Jesus had been crucified yesterday on Good Friday, we would only know one thing right now – that Jesus is dead. We would only know the bloody, messy cross. We would be focused on the fact that He paid a serious price for our sin.

Imagine the sense of lost hope that those first Christ followers must have felt.

And then, three days later…the stone was rolled to the side. The tomb was empty. His body gone. Word spread fast that He had risen.

Can you believe what that experience must have been like?

MAN!

Just a simple observation that has completely changed the posture with which I celebrate Easter and Holy Week. Right now, Jesus is dead.

Tomorrow, on Easter Sunday, we will celebrate His conquering death!

Thank you Jesus for the cross! Don’t let us EVER forget!

Tips for Easter

I know a guy addicted to peeps. Thank goodness he can only get them at Easter…

At Revolution Church, we are ADDICTED TO LIFE CHANGE!

When you are addicted to something you always want more. We want more lives to be changed by Jesus than ever before this Easter! This is your day to personally participate in life change by inviting people to experience Easter at Revolution Church!

Here are a few tips for a great Easter experience:

Show up early. Easter is crazy so get there early!

REV FAMILY, PARK FAR. How cool is this? If you serve on a REV TEAM at Revolution Church you will need to park down the street at Dobie Junior High (click for map.) We are expecting so many people that we need to clear some parking. We will be bussing you back and forth to the parking lot. Thanks for sacrificing so that our guests can have the best experience ever!

BRANG ‘EM! By BRANG ‘EM I mean bring your family, friends, neighbors or anyone else you meet that might not have a place to worship for Easter. A simple invitation in God’s hands can lead people to find a new hope, purpose and life in Jesus.

Come expecting something! Ask God to speak to you on Easter Sunday. Come ready to celebrate and see life change.

Serve on a REV TEAM. If you are a partner or regular attender of Revolution Church, we encourage you to start serving on a REV TEAM now! Easter is the perfect time to jump in. Get Baptized! We are offering baptism after each service this Easter. If you have began a life-long relationship with Jesus and have never been baptized, this is an incredible opportunity to be baptized. Easter Sunday F-BOMB

Easter is this Sunday!

And we are going to be talking about the F-BOMB.

The BIGGEST F-BOMB of all time is found in church.

FORGIVENESS. It frees you from your past. It gives you power over your circumstances. It restores what’s been taken from you. And it’s YOUR CHOICE.

Through this one incredible word, you can find peace with God, self and others. Join us starting Easter Sunday as we look at what life with the F-BOMB is like!

If you don’t go to church, join us at Revolution on Easter Sunday at 8:30, 10:00 or 11:30am

Its church for people who don’t do church.

This one is for the husbands out there…sometimes, its the OBVIOUS things we forget to do…

This week I recommend buying your wife flowers. Do it randomly. Its cheap and she will love it.

Then, if you want, go the extra mile and build her something to put flowers in. Fill it with flowers on a regular basis.

Couper and I built this country flower box on man day and gave it to Amber.
