R.I.P. Myspace

I shut down my Myspace (always hated that…do you say “my myspace” or just “myspace”!??!) account this morning. It was just an annoying thing that I never used. I only kept it really because I would get magic gigs every once in a while from it. Just to illustrate how pointless it was in my life, when I logged in I had over 400 “Friend Requests” and over 30 messages in my inbox. HA!

So, I wash my hands from you Myspace and I leave you with an image I created just for you. Now, if I could just close my facebook account…

I Just Shop-Vaced My Shop Vac

This afternoon after building a riser for “The Maestro” (Ron Johns our keyboard player) I noticed that my shop vac was absolutely FILTHY. So, I turned it back on and used its own sucking power to clean itself. Interesting that you could clean something with itself…

May sound ridiculous, but it made me think of something: a lot of churches and organizations are so stuck on their own maintenance that they never accomplish much of anything new.

Your thoughts? Do you ever feel like your church or business is just spinning its wheels?

  • PUMPED about starting my first full message series tomorrow. Its called Illusions and we’re going to see some incredible life change!
  • PUMPED that I’ve gotten to chill with my mom, dad, brother, and sis this weekend. I love my family!
  • PUMPED that I’m finally back into my running groove. Time to train hard for the San Antonio full marathon.
  • PUMPED that my buddy Andrew Feemster will be doing some magic in the lobby tomorrow morning. Come early tomorrow so that you can see this guy perform. He is incredible!
  • PUMPED that Cole is focusing on his family for a while and taking a vacation.
  • NOT PUMPED that Cole is on vacation. :) What? I miss him already.
  • NOT PUMPED that I am forced to do some work on a PC because Cole is gone.
