In my opinion, this is one of the BEST videos on YouTube right now. Love it. I watch it with Couper every few days. And sometimes, I watch it on my own. One day I’ll use it as an illustration in a sermon…it makes me think of a relationship I had with a friend in ministry. Can you guess which character represents me?

Sunday Mind Dump
- Awesome day at The Connection Church! Week 2 of One Month to Live challenged me mucho. I’ve got a lot to of work to do in my life!
- Watching Sesame Street with Couper while I write this mind dump. This show is hilarious! Cookie Monster struggles to not eat the letter of the day, breaks down, eats it, and then burps…he does it every single day! Could be a good sermon illustration on sin sometime.
- I was a little frustrated with some things after Church today, but nothing major. Still have some team work to do!
- Had some Hurricane IKE evacuees at Church today. I prayed with them and chatted for a few. They were worried about whether or not they would have a home when they returned.
- its a long week full of work, sermon prep, budgeting…
- I’m also trying to implement my GTD system to help de-spam my life this week. If you feel like you need more time in life or like you are always doing things at the last second, pick up this book and read it. I call it the “Dave Ramsey system of managing your time.” Awesome stuff.
- By the way, if you need something, my main GTD tool is Remember the Milk coupled with the iPhone APP “TODO.”
- Got some bad news today from my good buddy Seth. They had a family member commit suicide with everyone in the house. Please pray for them today.
- Also pray for this family. I can’t imagine being that Dad. Pray for that dad more than anyone.
- I finished my longest run EVER on Friday. 16 miles. Scares the snot out of me that if it was the real race day, I would still have had 10 miles to go. Holy cow!
- Ok, gotta go. The Dixie Chicks are on Sesame Street…gotta shut it off ASAP!
