Saturday Night Shots

Here they are:

  • PUMPED about my sermon tomorrow. God has been blowing my mind with Romans 8:5-16. Check it out before you come to church tomorrow and you’ll be tracking that much better with me…
  • PUMPED about an early morning meeting we had today…AWESOME STUFF coming up for TCC. Can’t give details yet…
  • PUMPED about being back at church tomorrow. I was on vacation last week. It is one of the hardest things in the world for me to miss a single TCC service.
  • PUMPED about something really really stinking cool happening tomorrow morning before service…but again, I can’t give out details yet. Man we are secretive. :)
  • PUMPED about Micah singing “Beautiful the Blood” tomorrow. I can’t get enough of that song. Or any song Steve Fee does for that matter.
  • PUMPED that you are reading this blog on a new web host. I finally dropped Startlogic.com forever.
  • NOT PUMPED about the fact that I have only practiced my sermon a few times. Need more.
  • NOT PUMPED about how badly I need some sleep right now. Couper has decided this week that his bedtime is 4am. Wonder where he gets that from?

Steve Fee WE SHINE

Went with Cole and the fam to see Steve Fee live at The River 102.3 studios tonight.  I have been following Fee for a while now, especially since I saw them at Catalyst.

In my opinion, this guy is ROCKING the worship music genre more than ANYONE right now.  I walk around pretty much all day everyday singing the songs off of the new album, titled “We Shine.”  We do the songs in our celebration services because that’s just what they are…incredible songs of celebration and declaration that our GOD SHINES.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, go buy the album immediately on iTunes.  You won’t be disappointed.

Oh, I recorded a little bit of them playing “Glorious One.”  The set tonight was acoustic…not typical Fee, but still absolutely amazing!  The audio isn’t all that great, but check out the SICK worship lyric videos that go along with the show on the TV in the background…incredible…
