The Sunday Mind Dump…
- If you missed church today, you missed James Spear singing “Thankful” by Johnny Lang. Click here and listen to it now on Cole’s blog. In my opinion it was absolutely THE BEST song we have EVER done at TCC. SIMPLY INCREDIBLE.
- I’m telling you, when you miss even just one week at TCC, you MISS OUT BIG TIME.
- It was an incredible Sunday. It felt SO GOOD to be teaching again! We had a blast today talking about three ways that we can give thanks to God. BUT, we did something different. Rather than just listening to me talk about those three things for 30 minutes, we talked about each thing briefly and then actually DID each thing together. It was incredible!
- I got THE BEST feedback I have ever had today regarding our band and the message. THAT is encouraging!
- All that said, today was a crazy day at TCC. We dealt with everything from having to move a small piano to a gas leak to a fire alarm. Fun huh? You would be AMAZED if you knew about some of the things that go on before (and sometimes even during) our services. It’s a small price to pay to be able to meet in the school.
- I love Tobias, but MAN I AM READY TO MOVE TO THE PAC! I asked my neighbor today if he knew that we were going to be moving to the PAC and he replied, “Yeah, you just announced it last week.” Man that BEAT me down HARD. It’s only been ONE WEEK! AHHHHH!
- Seriously, you should have heard James sing today. WOW!
- I run my 1/2 marathon in Vegas in 6 days…YIKES.
- I have to get some tights to run in. Not women’s tights, but tights for cold weather. Why am I telling you this?
- Went grocery shopping today and I got some “TAZO” tea to go with my breakfast. Pumped about that…is my life really that sad?
- I put up our Christmas lights today. Stop by the house and check it out…they rock. And, I am only about 3/4 of the way done!
- My knees hurt from being on the roof for 3 hours. Probably wasn’t a good idea to put the lights up in 34 degree weather a week before my big run…but hey, its my only Christmas tradition…that I put up the lights the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
- I cannot believe UT got beat down so bad by A&M. That STUNK. Funny to see A&M’s coach resign immediately after the game though. Smart move I guess since he was obviously going to get fired anyway. You can’t fire me! I QUIT!
- PUMPED about hanging out with Cole tomorrow. I miss that guy when we are apart for more than a few days.
